Dr Edith Ugwuanyi
Dr. Princess Edith Ngozi Ugwuanyi, who hails from Ibagwa-Aka by birth and Amachara-Ovoko by marriage, has an Undergraduate degree in Nursing, a Masters in Business Administration, and a PhD. in Health Administration. She is an astute business owner, a community development activist, a philanthropist, and the founder of Africa Hope Foundation, which operates in fourteen (14) states in Nigeria.
She joins the APGA team with expertise in political organization and grassroots mobilization, having deployed these skills for years in the non-profit and public sectors. Ugwuanyi is actively involved in the socio-economic lives of Enugu women and children, and leads the Women Alliance Group in the Enugu North Senatorial Zone. She is a member of the Women’s Guild and Mothers’ Union. She has a track record for job and wealth creation through her sustainable farming enterprises and a health drink production company.

We will:
- Create an equitable and just society that generates local, regional, and national prosperity.
- Transform Enugu State into a safe, modern, and investor-friendly destination.
- Be people-centric and increase citizen participation & engagement.
Human Capital Development
We will:
- Raise the quality of life of all people in Enugu through sustained investment in values propagation, education, health, security, environmental sustainability.
- Create partnerships with and attract global institutions & companies.
- Promote collaboration between academia and industry to enhance innovation & productivity outputs.
Security
We will:
- Support law enforcement agencies with the needed tools and policies that enhances their capacity to protect lives and properties.
- Invest in human capital development to address youth restiveness and unemployment.
- Ensure all citizens are treated fairly and equally under the law.
Environmental Sustainability
We will:
- Make Enugu green and sustainable by investing in water, urban planning, infrastructure, energy, values, and beliefs of the people.
- Transform Enugu into a model city amongst the top 20 cleanest and greenest cities in Africa by 2027.
- Restore parks and regenerate all slums in Enugu into liveable, safe, and sustainable communities.
Governance
We will:
- Adopt an administration of Radical Transparency &Accountability.
- Develop a partnership framework between state and local government (to develop 3 projects per annum per LG x 17 LGs x 4 years).
- Institute an annual ‘State of the State’ address(mandated by law via State House of Assembly) on the Governor’s stewardship of the state.
Leadership
We will:
- Adopt an administration of Radical Transparency & Accountability.
- Develop a partnership framework between the state and the local government areas and initiate three projects per annum per LGA.
- Institute an annual ‘State of the State’ address (mandated by law via State House of Assembly) on the Governor’s stewardship of the state.
Technology and Innovation
We will:
- Establish Enugu as a technology and innovation destination through the propagation of tech hubs and the related ecosystem activity that sustains them.
- Develop smarter cities through connectivity infrastructure, open data, software solutions and related services that address the priority sectors of the integrated economic development plan.
- Create tech hubs to educate and encourage new talent and ways of thinking and facilitate high-tech business growth especially among the young people.

- Promote the inclusion of women, youth and the under-served in leadership at all levels.
